What is Freedom?
Freedom is a multi-platform distraction-blocking application available on macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, Chromebook, and Linux. The software enables users to block specific applications, websites, or the entire internet across multiple synchronized devices during timed focus sessions. Users can create custom blocklists, select preset lists, schedule recurring or advance sessions, and activate locked mode to prevent ending sessions early. Additionally, Freedom provides website exception lists and ambient background sounds such as cafes and nature.
