About OBS Studio

OBS Studio is a free and open-source software application for video recording and live streaming across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. It provides real-time capturing and mixing of video and audio sources, including window captures, images, text, browser windows, webcams, and capture cards. Users can configure multiple scenes with custom transitions, manage sound levels using an integrated audio mixer with per-source filters, and preview live broadcasts via Studio Mode. The software also supports modular UI docks, global hotkey configuration, and integration with external streaming platforms, plugins, and custom scripts.
