AFFiNE is an open-source, local-first workspace software combining structured docs, visual whiteboards, and databases. Built with an MIT-licensed editor and a source-available backend, it enables users to write, draw, and plan in unified workspaces without switching tools. Documents support block-based editing, while edgeless whiteboard mode provides an endless canvas for sketching, mind mapping, and presentations. AFFiNE includes database views such as tables and Kanban boards for task and project management, alongside optional multimodal AI features. It operates natively across macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, web browsers, and self-hosted Docker environments.
